The fine merino silk yarn LACY is knitted with dpns size EU 3,5 mm [US/CAN 4, AU 3.5] and a very easy pattern in stockinette stitch. The decorative picot edge is made with additional stitches. A favorite which can be accomplished even by beginners.  Its part of the “Strickstart” collection with design so easy and straight forward that even the most inexperienced knitter can accomplish them.  Even if you only mastered the basics such as casting on, stockinette stitch and binding off so far this project is still perfect for you. It does require a little more patience than the similar worked shawl Papaver, Model 11 published in Rebecca #82 since LACY yarn is considerably thinner than the material used there.
