She looks cool, is made with a mix of 4 threads of MOHAIR MELANGE and KID by ggh and is incredibly light and comfortable. You have been knitting for a longer time?  Then this will be a very relaxing and fast knitting experience! The hat belongs to our “Strickstart” collection with very easy designs that can be used as a first try project by beginners. 

The used MOHAIR MELANGE yarn is made from 80% mohair and 20% polyamide and makes for an incredibly soft and fine material. The hat is knitted with 4 threads; 2 threads MOHAIR MELANGE and 2 threads KID by ggh, both incredibly fluffy lace yarn made from 65% super-kid mohair, 5% wool and 30% polyamide offered in a wide range of colors. Those two super soft and feather light mohair mixes combined make for a wonderfully delicate knitting. Together the 4 threads of those fluffy yarns make a bigger string which can easily be handled by beginners.  Using dpns size EU 7–8 mm [US/CAN 10.5-11, AU 7-8] you will work up the hat quickly in stockinette stitch. The two earthy colors we put together -uni color for KID yarn and MOHAIR MELANGE with a slight melange effect - create a wonderful play of colors.
