Hat with Norwegian Stars

The classic Norwegian Stars are worked in Jacquard technique which requires quite a lot of skill.  But the spectacularly beautiful hat isn't all that big and with a little experience not a problem anymore: I dare you!

In any case the high–quality pure new wool ensures that your self made stitch art keeps its form, beauty and is always easy to care for. Since the classic Norwegian pattern is laborious to knit it is important to use high–quality wool to ensure a long life. The hat is knitted in rounds so you always have the pattern in front of your eyes.  Its symmetrical so the pattern will become clear very soon – the chart won’t be necessary for long. To match the hat we created cuffs for this pattern as well (Model 24, Rebecca #80).
The knitting pattern for size 52–57cm [20,5”–22.5”] has been published in Rebecca #80, Model 23 and includes a stitch-to-stitch chart.
Additional materials: Double pointed needles (dpns) size EU 3,5–4 mm [US/CAN 4–6, AU 3.5–4] and EU 3–3,5 mm [US/CAN 2–3, AU 3–3.5]
