Norwegian Sweater with round yoke

Warm red and deep black accentuate the geometric bordures of this classic Norwegian sweater perfectly. The ingenious design includes decreases for the round yoke so skillfully that they are not interrupting the pattern.

The TOPAS yarn by ggh is made from 41 % pure new wool, 32 % polyacrylic and 9 % alpaca. The huge color chart doesn't leave any color wish to be desired and offers rich earthy colors, cleat crayon colors, pastel nuances and neutral colors. For the traditional round yoke sweater in Scandinavian tradition we choose the contrast between back and warm red.  The knitted in bordures in Jacquard technique show graphic elements. 
The knitting pattern for size EU 36–38 [US/CAN 6–8, AU 10–12], EU 40–42 [US 10–12, AU 14–16] and EU 44–46 [US 14–16, AU 18–20] has been published in Rebecca #80, Model 17.
